Four short consents. Part A is shown on its own screen at the very start of setup, before any other document. Parts B, C and D are accepted with the final click-through.
Part A — Consent to electronic records and signatures
A.1 What you are agreeing to. By checking "I agree," you consent to receive all agreements, notices, disclosures, statements, receipts and other communications from Ridge electronically, and to sign agreements with Ridge electronically, under the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) and Ohio's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. An electronic signature, including a typed name or a checked box, has the same effect as a handwritten signature.
A.2 How we deliver. By email to the address on your account, by notice inside the Ridge app or dashboard, or by posting at ridgeapp.app/legal. Keep your email address current.
A.3 What you need. A device with a current web browser or the Ridge app, an internet connection, a valid email address, and the ability to save or print PDF files. If these requirements change in a way that creates a material risk you cannot receive our communications, we will tell you.
A.4 Paper copies. You may request a paper copy of any electronic record by emailing support@ridgeapp.app; we may charge a reasonable fee for printing and mailing.
A.5 Withdrawing consent. You may withdraw this consent by emailing support@ridgeapp.app. Because the Service is delivered electronically, withdrawal will end your Ridge account at the end of the current billing month.
A.6 You confirm that you can access and read this consent and that you can save or print it.
Part B — Billing authorization
B.1 Card. If you provide a credit or debit card, you authorize Ridge to charge it for your monthly Plan fee in advance on each billing date, for add-ons as incurred, for applicable taxes, and for any amount you owe Ridge under the Merchant Agreement, including chargebacks and negative balances not recovered from your connected account. Ridge will store the card with its payment processor and may update expired card details through account-updater services.
B.2 Bank account (ACH). If you provide a bank account, you authorize Ridge to initiate electronic debits (ACH entries) to it for the same amounts, and credits to correct any error. This authorization follows the rules of the National Automated Clearing House Association. Debits for the Plan fee occur on the same day each month; variable debits (add-ons, amounts owed) will be preceded by email notice of the amount at least three business days before the debit. You may revoke this authorization by emailing support@ridgeapp.app at least five business days before the next debit, and must then provide another payment method.
B.3 Failed payments. If a charge or debit is returned, you authorize Ridge to retry up to two times and to charge any fee your bank assesses Ridge for the return, up to $25.
B.4 Receipts. Ridge emails a receipt for every charge and keeps 24 months of billing history in your dashboard.
B.5 Plan changes. You authorize Ridge to charge the new Plan fee after a Plan change made under Section 4.2 of the Merchant Agreement, after the notice period, without a new authorization.
Part C — Verification authorization
C.1 You authorize Ridge and Stripe to verify the information you provide, including the identity of the business, its owners and representatives, and its bank account, through third-party identity, business-registry, sanctions and bank-verification services.
C.2 You authorize Ridge and Stripe to obtain consumer and commercial credit reports and other background information on the business and, where you are a sole proprietor or sign the Owner Guaranty, on you personally, for the purpose of deciding whether to open and maintain your account and set any reserve. This authorization continues while your account is open.
C.3 You authorize Ridge to share the information you provide, and your transaction information, with Stripe as required to provide payment processing, and with the card networks and law enforcement as the law or network rules require.
Part D — Authority and accuracy certification
D.1 The person completing setup certifies that they are an owner, officer or authorized agent of the business, have authority to bind it to the Merchant Agreement and its Addenda, and are at least 18 years old.
D.2 You certify that all information provided during setup and thereafter, including legal name, entity type, taxpayer identification number, owners, address, bank account and the nature of the goods and services sold, is true, accurate and complete, and you will update it within 10 days of any change.
D.3 You understand that providing false information is grounds for immediate termination and may violate federal law.
